Grassroots Leadership
Culture Builders Coop focuses on prioritizing marginalized communities, empowering stakeholders, and driving organizational transformation and positive outcomes, particularly for Black and brown individuals. Our efforts include providing Belonging, Equity, Inclusion & Diversity (BEID) training, guiding strategic planning for non-profits, mentoring grassroots leaders, and fostering communities of practice. We are dedicated to establishing a sustainable infrastructure for racial justice.

What We Don't Do
- Address issues of race and racism outside of the United States of America.
- One-time training to “fix” toxic workplaces.
- Deliver services or workshops that are not employee-informed or conducive to supporting long-term change.
- Ask BIPOC participants to share painful personal experiences in order to teach white participants about racism.
Our Service Rates
As a Black woman and immigrant-led organization, our educators operate through a network model that is rooted in trusting relationships, collaboration, and shared power while using a democratic decision-making process.
In strong support of the solidarity economy and in alignment with our value of transparency, we are posting our hourly and full-day rates for consulting, coaching, and facilitation.
Hourly Rates
$175 per hour, per facilitator – for organizations with budgets up to $500,000 and are led by BIPOC, immigrants, and working-class leaders.
$300 per hour, per facilitator – for organizations with budgets over $500,000 and are committed to movement-building work.
Exclusive of prep and follow-up work
Full Day Rates
$2,000 per facilitator – for organizations with budgets up to $500,000 and are led by BIPOC, immigrants, and working-class leaders.
$3,000 per facilitator – for organizations with budgets above $500,000 and are committed to movement-building work.
Inclusive of prep and follow-up work
Neither our hourly rates nor our full-day rates include reimbursement for travel, lodging, and per diem expenses. Work that involves extensive travel will be billed at the full-day rate.
